Here is a #FigmaTip to give you more control over your bezier handles when creating vector illustrations in @figmadesign. 🖋

Use command + option when clicking anchor points to change the behavior of bezier handles and control them independently.https://t.co/rSbcUA1bTA pic.twitter.com/Lz5ozxN5pH

I don't know who needs to hear this, but some fonts come with stylistic alternatives for glyphs, and its super easy to swap them out in @figmadesign. Especially if a client has strong opinions on that letter "a" (true story).

This is Basic Sans, btw. pic.twitter.com/dT51BuKAN5
Great trick on using Union to preserve the color of icons.

A quick tip from Figma Designer Advocate Anthony DiSpezio. (While on topic, read the story behind color named “rebeccapurple”.)
Quick @figmadesign tip for some www nostalgia - you can use CSS color names as hex values in Figma #FigmaTiphttps://t.co/DqCiMhbUtr

To bring in the new year, here's a video covering an often missed Adobe Illustrator feature that you can now do in Figma, thanks to @evanwallace's Variable Width Stroke plugin pic.twitter.com/vdNmwQ3gIi
Figma profile by Index Ventures, with insights from Sho Kuwamoto and Dylan Field.
The plugin adds support for variable-width strokes. Made by Evan Wallace, a co-founder of Figma. (Hopefully, this is just a sign that native support is coming to the app soon!)
By Bonnie Kate Wolf. Don’t miss the textures she used, as shared in the replies.
The absolute masterpiece that is evermore by @taylorswift13 pushed me to my limits to explore what I can really do with @figmadesign pic.twitter.com/WE5qZkSVIm

Pablo Stanley explains how he used AI to create unique patterns for Blush.
When playing with geometric patterns and creating a Blush system, I realized that maybe a robot could recreate this. So I trained a model that generated really cool organic shapes 🤖

Smart workaround for selecting objects with a transparent background. I also like a follow-up from Gleb Sabirzyanov in the replies on ensuring that developers won’t implement this hack.
You may know this already, but this is a little trick I use for making selecting and swapping instances easier in @figmadesign. If your component has a transparent background give it a fill of 0.001. Now you can select it while holding down Cmd/Ctrl. pic.twitter.com/ZUb09AquAP

How about some horizontal *and* vertical scrolling presentation slides within @figmadesign?
— luis. (@disco_lu) December 14, 2020
With the scrollTo release last week, we can make some slick multi-axis transitions.
