Rogie is just showing off with this beautiful artwork.

Rogie King has another example of roughening up icons for wireframes.
What a great conversation between two wonderful human beings. Rob Hope goes deep as an interviewer and does a huge amount of research and production work for his Yo! Podcast. Rogie is a pillar of the design community and “a larger than life designer who rides the intersection of art and code”. I spent an hour watching an entire interview in one sitting on TV and enjoyed how personal and intimate it felt. Discussion covers the role of the Designer Advocate, the Figma community, creating Figma plugins, and — of course — horror movies.

Rogie with a mini-tutorial on making Mario Kart-inspired resizable buttons with fun shapes.
I love fun bordered buttons, like this Game UI from Mario Kart, so, I wanted to show you how to do this in @figma...and they work with auto layout and do not warp or squish.

That’s what I love about this community so much. Fons Mans shared an idea for the plugin, Rogie stepped in and offered to build it, and three days later they already had some WIP. Don’t know if I need this plugin yet, but seeing this collaboration makes me so happy.

Select artboards, hit generate and get a beautiful slide using the selected frames as blocks and the document colors as backgrounds ✨
During Maker Week, Rogie built a handy plugin for attaching files to the Figma document for hand-off. Great tool for sharing fonts, high-resolution pictures, or other assets with developers.
Rogie King reflects on the launch of new selling tools and the Figma Creator Fund for the Figma Community, and why these additions are important for the next generation of the Figma Community. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with Figma’s openness to the community feedback while preparing this release, and Rogie’s advocacy for the needs of the design community.
Rogie’s plugin for generating tiling noise and textures for fills and strokes is finally out of beta and publicly available. It’s essential for any illustration or art work. Check out a video walkthrough and upvote it on ProductHunt.

Vijay keeps teasing Rogie’s new plugin Noise & Texture. You’ll notice that it’s currently in beta and requires a code to unlock, but if you look closely at this thread you may find one.
Last night, when I was bored in a meeting 😌, I made some noise in @figma using the NT plugin @rogie. With this pluign we can create cool metal, wood, and many other texture by simply combining with layer mode. Shared some tips below 🧶 pic.twitter.com/CGEw0ACebE

Rogie comes to the rescue and explains how to preserve a fill color when icons are overridden and swapped. It’s worth keeping a layer name consistent across icons in the library if you plan to use them in different colors.
To get icon colors to preserve when they are overridden and swapped, you need to make sure that your layer names are the same. You'll see in this gif that add_circle and add_shopping_cart have the same layer name...that's how Figma knows to apply the override as you swap. pic.twitter.com/io8DZFtgBQ

A new plugin by Rogie King fixes the most common issues with importing and copy-pasting SVGs from Adobe Illustrator to Figma. Huge time saver if you’ve ever had to deal with these problems manually!

Rogie made a new plugin for playing a prototype while editing it. Because the plugin accesses the file id, it has to be installed locally. (I usually just open a prototype in a new app window while working on it.)
Ever wanted to play your prototypes while editing in @figmadesign? I made a little plugin for you! It's called "Prototype Preview", but it has to be installed as a local plugin (as it accesses the file id). Animation by @antimofm
