Another beautiful illustration by Bonnie Kate Wolf.
I hope y'all aren't tired of my Figma faux renders. This one is for @mmhmmapp <3

The absolute masterpiece that is evermore by @taylorswift13 pushed me to my limits to explore what I can really do with @figmadesign pic.twitter.com/WE5qZkSVIm

Beautiful illustration by Vijay Verma. (If you didn’t watch the movie yet, you’re in for a treat!)
Pablo Stanley explains how he used AI to create unique patterns for Blush.
When playing with geometric patterns and creating a Blush system, I realized that maybe a robot could recreate this. So I trained a model that generated really cool organic shapes 🤖

Smart workaround for selecting objects with a transparent background. I also like a follow-up from Gleb Sabirzyanov in the replies on ensuring that developers won’t implement this hack.
You may know this already, but this is a little trick I use for making selecting and swapping instances easier in @figmadesign. If your component has a transparent background give it a fill of 0.001. Now you can select it while holding down Cmd/Ctrl. pic.twitter.com/ZUb09AquAP

Cool demo by Figma Designer Advocate Luis.
How about some horizontal *and* vertical scrolling presentation slides within @figmadesign?
— luis. (@disco_lu) December 14, 2020
With the scrollTo release last week, we can make some slick multi-axis transitions.

A new “The Twenty Minute VC” podcast episode with Dylan Field.
One more podcast episode with Dylan, this time in “Founder’s Field Guide”. This one covers the principles that Figma is built upon, the growing importance of design as the world moves from consumption to creation, and what it takes to recruit effectively.
Great skit by Pablo Stanley that made rounds in the community. Love how both Figma and Sketch played along and changed their names on Twitter for a while!

Yo @figmadesign coming through with the holiday treats!!! ScrollTo Interactions in prototyping solves a problem I've been having for a while...wanting to traverse spaces!

Here is something I whipped up in 5min. I set up an underlying grid of instances to form a grid of targets. pic.twitter.com/3jFGLT4Pqz
Pablo Stanley released the first chapter of his Figma Crash course with five videos on Auto Layout.
Figma @figmadesign Protip... If you ever want to hide just your layers but keep the properties panel on the right when screen sharing (cuz layers be looking rough sometimes)... just hide only them `Command + Shift + \`
— miggi from figgi (@miggi) December 3, 2020
(You can also hide everything with `Command + \`) pic.twitter.com/MMggw86d0A
Figma @figmadesign protip: You can animate Angular gradients strokes. Make a simple loading animation by rotating the angle of the Angular gradient on a shape's stroke.

s/o to @annehelliott for the question & @BenMendelsohn for the rectangle. pic.twitter.com/aXe1y2DAak
It's Day 1 of our biannual Maker Week @figmadesign! This time we added a meta element and divided the company into four "houses" that are competing against each other in various challenges! First challenge = create a name and crest for your house: pic.twitter.com/unEJMZC7xG
