Another project by Jon Moore, this time for planning your perfect home right in Figma. Hundreds of true-to-size objects for designing a spectacular space, also available as the imperial system version. Wish it was available a couple of months ago when I did something similar from scratch for a home project!
The level of customization to virtual spaces that this kit provides is mind-blowing. Make sure to watch the video on the homepage! “LabKit offers a new collaborative way to create digital experiences using Figma and FigJam. Our highly detailed vector components come with loads of easy-to-use variants for customization. Everything you find is designed with joyful multiplayer interactions in mind.”
Impressive library of 1,311 free icons! “A high-quality selection of free icons. No premium options or sign-ups. Your new alternative to Noun Project, Flaticon, and all Figma resources. Available in SVG, Font, React, React Native, Flutter, Figma, and Framer.”
Joey Banks is back with this year’s iPadOS 16 UI Kit for Figma! “This file contains hundreds of components, templates, demos, and everything else needed to help you start designing for iPadOS. Each component uses the latest version of Auto Layout, supports Component Properties, variants, Light and Dark Mode, and much more.”
A design system boilerplate created by Mr. Biscuit in collaboration with Into Design Systems. It prioritizes component composition and design token usage at its core, providing an efficient means of establishing a robust and future-proof design library.
If that game wasn’t enough, check out these spatial 3D animations made using SkewDat plugin. There is a tutorial as well.
Honestly, at this point, I gave up on trying to understand how Double Glitch creates their prototypes. All possible Tic Tac Toe moves were manually tied together in this prototype, which is an incredible amount of work. Make sure to get a copy of the file and look under the hood!
This new color palette generator took “design Twitter” by storm last week, and for a good reason! “Poline is an enigmatic color palette generator, that harnesses the mystical witchcraft of polar coordinates. Its methodology, defying conventional color science, is steeped in the esoteric knowledge of the early 20th century. This magical technology defies explanation, drawing lines between anchors to produce visually striking and otherworldly palettes.”
If introducing Genius wasn’t enough, here is another upcoming AI tool for creating editable UI designs from a simple text description. As Vitaly Friedman rightfully put, “It’s about time to get used to websites looking exactly the same everywhere.”
If you ever wonder what Designer Advocates do at Figma, Clara Ujiie just gave a mini-presentation to Figma interns answering this question. While community engagement is the most visible part of advocates’ jobs, they also spend a lot of time on customer education and learning how customers and the community use Figma.
A new project by Vijay Verma: “Figbruary is a fictional month created by combining Figma + February where you can experiment and design things daily to push the limits. For every 24 hour day within this 672 hour timespan of the month, we have prepared a prompt with instructions for you to design and create.”

An adventure game made with Figma prototyping tools.
Framer published a selection of the best Framer websites made last year. Lots of great designs to get inspired from, but I didn’t expect to see such a heavy dose of personal websites of designers and agencies.
Just in time for Hanukkah!

In addition to Joey’s thumbnail kit, check out this template from the design team at Doist. It’s specific to their products, but can be easily customized or used as an inspiration.
