That’s a pretty cool demo of how powerful the Generator plugin is. Impressive!

Cool illustration by Benten Woodring with strong retro ’80s and ’90s vibes.
A fascinating story of using Figma to design and craft… quilts! “I would say that I design 80% of my quilts in Figma before I even cut the fabric. Other quilters improvise much more than I do, but I think my UX background and experience preparing assets for engineering teams makes me want to go in with a plan. Everything needs to be measured to the quarter inch, and Figma is a great tool for that.”

James walks through his process of creating small animated illustrations for the new Clerk website.
💡 You'll notice that each illustration begins in a monochromatic state. When you hover them, they come to life with the eye-catching sky blue color, serving as our primary attention-grabbing hue. This design choice was intentional, as it prevents everything from feeling busy. pic.twitter.com/OgPenejw4F

I was tasked by my manager to create around 6 covers for our blog page.
So I prepared a few components with different variants (background color, texture, shape, doodle), and then - using a randomizer plugin I quickly generated more than 6 covers per second 😎 pic.twitter.com/sWrMNwOU2E
A new plugin to generate free vector globes — spin the globe in the plugin window to update the frame, and then you can customize the result, tweaking colors for countries and more.
Using variables to create a night and day version of the same illustration. Love this approach!

I missed Vijay’s Figma recreations! A great illustration of the Sony Walkman, full of little details and textures. “Most of the shapes are created using primitive shapes with shadows and blend modes.”
